Collecting rainwater just got more discreet

Urban kiwis can now reduce their household’s environmental footprint by installing an eco sac® rainwater storage bladder tank under their house or deck, not only making rainwater harvesting easy, but also retaining the aesthetic value of their property.

Glenn Skinner, CEO of Orion Distributors and exclusive distributor of eco sac® in New Zealand, says the eco sac® range is constructed from a durable drinking-water-quality PVC material and will appeal to property owners in urban areas who wish to collect their own rainwater but do not like the look of a traditional tank or have little space for one.

eco sac® provides urban homeowners with the ability to collect rainwater without having to install a large water tank that not only takes up valuable outdoor space, but can also reduce the aesthetics of their property.

Rainwater harvesting is a more sustainable way for gardeners and pool owners to enjoy their leisure activities without worrying about excessive water use. And for those living in dry areas of the country, collection of rainwater is a necessity, especially for activities like washing the car, says Glenn.

At up to 600mm high and supplied with a steel frame and supporting harness, the eco sac® range is available in a variety of capacity sizes – from 1,700 to 8,600 litres (or more depending on available space) – meaning there’s one to suit any household’s requirements.

How…

Following installation by a qualified plumber, eco sac® is virtually maintenance free and can be emptied and transported to a new property. The unique patent pending mounting plate supplied with the eco sac® means all pipes are fixed and do not move while the bladder tank fills and empties.
