Easy Japanesy Spinach Salad
April 24, 2009 by Kirsten · Leave a Comment

I like to eat this salad with chop sticks and pretend I am at my favourite Japanese restaurant – Tanukis Cave in Auckland.
Ingredients
- Baby Spinach – (quantity to fill individual or large salad bowl)
- Half a small red onion
- *optional a couple of tablespoons of chopped bacon, or chopped raw mushroom.
- Ready made *Tamari salad dressing.
* I use ’3six9′.. It is flax oil food dressing (source of Omega), and delicious!
Method:
- Wash and rinse baby spinach leaves.
- Slice red onion thinly. Use 1/4 to 1/2 of onion depending on servings. Break up half rings and place in salad.
- Add optional chopped bacon or mushroom.
- Dress salad to your liking with Tamari salad dressing.
