Go Eco-style for Summer
Get the latest look for summer by combining an outfit of swished items. Here is an eco-style outfit chosen by Susana Sarmiento, TVNZ’s Global Self-Image expert and iSwish resident stylist.

The following style tips from Susana will further help you vary this outfit in various seasons.
“The weather is warming up and dresses become the most worn attire. I personally love a good Shirt Dress as it has multi uses. In summer on its own or put a coloured singlet underneath for some accessorizing.
On cooler weathers worn with merinos underneath, throw on a belt and boots and you have a winter look.
Mixing and combining your clothes into different seasons is the key to a successful wardrobe. This is called transeasonal clothing.”
All items come from the swishing website iSwish.co.nz.

Eco style is cooler than cool at the moment, and what makes it even better is if you find a designer who actually cares about the planet you know they have implemented environmental ways to create a great fashion label, while bringing more awareness to the masses about ethical values.
My company earthage, or earthage clothing is just starting and I have found we need more designers to pave the way to create a market for these environmental eco fabrics so more and more people can afford to buy them, and use them in their ranges. We use organic clothing, Alpaca fibres but my particular fave is recycled or upcycled clothing, as you know your definitely not adding any more carbon footprint than that which already existed, and your helping keep cloth out of landfills.
