In 1924 a group of Polish agriculturalists met with Rudolf Steiner, scientist and philosopher. They were seeking help because their crop yields were in decline, as was the quality of their produce.
Steiner completed a series of eight lectures to this group of experienced growers and from this the agricultural practice of biodynamics was born.
